José Ignacio Echeverria, born in Madrid and Mexican by adoption, is a Chemical Engineer from UNAM with further studies in Sociology of Work from the Free University of Brussels, and business management from IPADE. He has attended editorial seminars at Stanford and a Master’s in Creative Writing at the University of Salamanca. A publisher since 1985, he has held prominent positions including President of the National Book Association, President of the Ibero-American Publishers Group and President of the Mexican Publishing Industry Chamber.
