Ana María Cabanellas is a lawyer, publisher, and writer. She directs the Grupo Claridad, which publishes the Heliasta, Claridad, Unaluna, and Tobogán imprints. Currently, she holds the following positions:
- Vice-president of the Centro Argentino de Derechos Reprográficos (CADRA).
- In charge of International Relations at Fundación “El Libro” (organizes the Buenos Aires Book Fair and other local book fairs).
- Honorary Advisor of the Argentine Publishers Association (CAL).
- President of the Latin American Committee of the International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organization (IFRRO).
- Vice-President of the Ibero-American Publishers Group (GIE).
In the past, she has served as:
- President of the Argentine Publishers Association (CAL).
- President of the Centro de Administración de Derechos Reprográficos de Argentina (CADRA) (Centre for the Administration of Reprographic Rights of Argentina).
- President of the Inter-American Publishers Group (GIE).
- President and Vice-President of the International Publishers Association (IPA).
- Member of the Executive Committee of IFRRO.
- Member of the Executive Committee of PublisHer (Industry movement to bring gender equality to the publishing world).
