Her master’s thesis, “Guía para la implementación de la edición universal en editoriales mexicanas” (Guide to Implement Universal Publishing in Mexican Publishing Houses), provides a low-cost roadmap for Mexican publishers to integrate accessibility into their workflows with a universal publishing approach.Ana María has shared her expertise in this field at prominent national and international forums, including the Caniem’s Innovation in Publishing Forum 2023, UNAM’s International University Publishing Colloquium 2024, and the EDRLab’s Digital Publishing Summit 2024 in Paris. She founded Book Ally, an organization dedicated to providing training and resources for accessibility in the Spanish-speaking publishing market. Her commitment to improving the reading experience for individuals with disabilities has positioned her as a leading voice for inclusivity in the Mexican publishing community.Recently elected President of the Youth Committee at the National Publishers Chamber in Mexico, Ana María is also dedicated to empowering a new generation of Mexican publishers.
